Tomás Martínez is an associate to the Firm in the Maritime, Insurance, and Reinsurance group since 2023. He focuses his practice on maritime law, particularly in the judicial sphere. He also has comprehensive experience in insurance law, both general and reinsurance, and related litigation.

He specializes in maritime transport, with an emphasis on cargo claims, arrests, maritime insurance, and related judicial and extrajudicial dispute resolution.

Before joining JJR, he worked as a corporate lawyer at the Banco de Chile's Attorney General's Office from 2021 to 2023, where he performed functions of analysis and study of companies and powers of the Bank's clients, together with the issuance of legal reports and internal advice regarding them.
